HOW TO INSTALL THE SOFA COVER?

Don't throw away that old couch just yet. Did you know that 9 million tons of furniture are landfilled every year? You are contributing to protect our planet while use a slipcover instead of throw it away.

Once you have chosen the correct slipcover for the size and style of your sofa, you can follow these easy steps to ensure that your slipcover looks great and stays in place. Below are some tips for how you can install your sofa slipcovers.

ONE-PIECE COUCH COVER

Step 1: Remove any pillows from the sofa.

Step 2: Pull the cover over the chair, making sure that the tag is placed at the back middle of the chair before tucking.

Step 3: Once the cover is properly aligned and the whole chair is covered, tuck in the excess fabric into the chair's creases. Use foam rollers where necessary.

Step 4: One-piece slipcovers typically have ties along the skirt. Tie these to pull the fabric around the base of the sofa tight.

Step 5: Replace your throw pillows and enjoy.

TWO-PIECE COUCH COVER

Step 1: Remove all the pillows and seat cushions from your sofa.

Step 2: Locate the tag on on the sofa cover. make sure this "Back" label ends up in the middle of your sofa near the floor before you tuck the cover.

Step 3: Stretch the slipcover over your sofa from the back to the front. Spread the cover from one armrest to the other. Adjust the cover's position so that it covers the entire sofa before tucking.

Step 4: Use the included foam rollers to tuck in any excess fabric between the cushion creases and smooth until you've achieved the desired look.

L-SHAPED SOFAS & MODULAR SECTIONALS

If you own a modular sectional sofa or L-Shaped sofa and you are wondering how to install covers for it, the best way to go about this task is to split the couch into different parts and use multiple one-piece and two-piece covers to build out your sectional.

Since modular sofas like the L-Shaped variety are made of more than one piece, it's best to consider each removable section as it's own sofa, for the sake of applying sofa covers to it.

Choose covers based on each sectional's size and apply them separately before reattaching at the end. Otherwise, the instructions are exactly the same as previously mentioned above.
